Warmer weather is in store for midweek with highs in the 20s and even into the low 30s in the far west. Two round of light snow is expected on Thursday into Friday morning. Reinforcements from Pennsylvania have arrived also! We are hitting it hard for this weekend with a short preventative maintenance window planned for the machine on Saturday. Temps are warming up during the day, making the trail soft and letting moguls form, but temps will drop again for the weekend! That means better trails for Saturday. Looks warm for the start of next week with temps near 30 by Tuesday. Get out and ride while the riding is good! NO SNOW – NO CHANGES
This measurement was taken yesterday in Shingleton, some areas have more. A few riders are out but you can see they are running the gravel underneath. We might see a few inches of Lake Effect Snow over the next day or so but no substantial amounts listed. Hope for the best and continue the snow dances. LAKE EFFECT SNOW ENGINE SPUTTERING
We did get 4 to 5 inches of snowfall over the last few days but still not enough to do anything productive. Lake Effect Snow is scattered throughout the 10 day forecast but no substantial amounts listed. Weather forecast changes day by day and all we can do is hope for the best and continue the snow dances.
