WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> A pair of systems will bring a wintry mix of precipitation to the U.P. today into tonight. A clipper will spread a mix of rain, snow, and freezing rain across the area this morning, changing to all rain from west to east as temperatures climb above freezing in the afternoon, reaching as high as the mid 50s in the west. A cold front then drops across the U.P. and brings another round of mixed precip tonight, changing to all snow towards Sunday morning. Generally expect minimal snow amounts across most of the U.P., but some spots in the Keweenaw and the east could pick up 1-3” through Sunday morning. A glaze of ice will also be possible in a few spots this morning and again tonight. #miweather #keweenaw#westernup#marquette#munising #seney #newberry #soo #straitsareaA pair of systems will bring a wintry mix of precipitation to the U.P. today into tonight.
