KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western & Southern UP Trail Reports – 12/22 5"-8" tomorrow night means 7"- 10" in Toivola. <> Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau Snowmobile Trail Conditions Snowmobile trails are in early season condition throughout the Keweenaw. Up to 5 inches of snow on the ground. Watch out for rocks, wet spots, and other impediments as snow levels are low. MDNR Trail 133 is closed but has signed reroutes and MDNR Trail 134 to Copper Harbor is OPEN. Trail109 was a little moguled up last night from the weekend traffic, so I cut her deep. Hopefully it'll hold up until I can hit it again Tuesday. I woke up to another 4 inches this morning and itsxstill snowing.

We've been busy setting up everything for tomorrow's Backcountry Village big event. Gates will open around 9am, ride out at 2pm, and the the freestyle show at 4pm. Come visit the Western UP Trail Reports booth just to the left of the stage.
