It hardly never fails and that is the sad part, I almost wrote about this when the snow hit but I held off hoping that it would fail. First fatality of the season has already happened with another seriously injured. A 55 year old man killed and a woman seriously injured. Its always speed that is the contributing factor and many times alcohol too. Still alot to melt off here in Frederic, Piles were huge and so very rock hard its still gonna take them a while to melt down. The good thing about all the snow was that it spread the riders out all thru the state which made for a much safer season. Even with that there were still 12 deaths with only 4 in the lower and the rest in the u.p.
