Paradise Area Trail Report – 12/15
December 15, 2020 Okay….its finally lookin a lot like winter out der! It is 16 degrees and a light snow is in the air this morning. We had lake effect bands all day yesterday where it would snow hard and then the sun would come out. I picked up about 5-6 inches on my deck between yesterday and last night. I know some places had a little more than that. It has been cold here for the last week so the ground is starting to freeze. That should help us in da woods with all the water on the trails also. We are not gonna get the groomers out yet though…just not enough snow and cold yet….plus it looks like it will warm up into the low 30`s this weekend….BUMMER!!!! 11 degrees this morning under partly cloudy skies. I got about 2" of fresh snow on my deck from last night. Nothing new to report on the trails except the loggers are done out by Pine Stump now, we`ll whip that in shape today and all will be good in sno-mo country! Our entire system will be groomed today, all trails are in GREAT SHAPE!!!!
My biggest question is....where is everybody? Its been slow all season U.P. here.....even on the weekends. Ya`ll are missing out. COME ON U.P.!!!!! Quick report as I`m heading out the door to go grooming.

Minus 5 degrees this morning under a cloudy sky. No new snow in the last 24 hrs. but we do have about 3 feet of snow on the ground so no worries...LOL. Here`s whats been happening since my last report a couple days ago......
No bad news...the machines have been running beautifully....Mother Nature has been cooperating perfectly....and our trails are EXCELLENT!!!!
The Falls trail #45, the Point trails #452 & #453 and the South trail #8 all fall into that catagory. The only blip on the radar is on the Pine Stump trails #8 & #9 but it is only minor. Our section of trail #9 is still being plowed down from the Stump to the East branch of the Two Heart by the loggers. It is no big deal, just take trail #8 around instead of #9, just like the old days. Its a touch longer but you`re out there to enjoy the ride.....right? On the bright side, they are done up by Crisp Point but it will take us a couple trips to get that back in great shape.
Where is everybody?? Its been awful slow around here. COME ON U.P., You are missing out!!
