Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 03/18
KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 3/18 Groomers are out! This is what Buzzy had to say about today’s grooming, “Wednesday morning sees two machines on Trail 3 between Phoenix and Central repairing a bridge railing that lost a battle with a groomer. A groomer will be heading to Brockway later today and completing a loop on 135 134 back to Mohawk. Another machine will leave Mohawk for Hancock in the afternoon. Tomorrow’s route will include a trip to Toivola which is holding up quite well. Pack a big lunch for a full day of riding on what should turn out to have decent trails with low traffic. Stay right, stay safe, or stay home. Smooth trails don’t give a license to speed, lots of families with little kids out there… <> March 17, 2020 Snowmobile trails are in fair to good condition throughout the Keweenaw. Road crossings and inter-city limits have bare spots. Trails are groomed daily throughout the region. Remember when you’re out on the trails to watch out for the groomers. They have the right away.
