Keweenaw Trail Reports

Today marks the “official end” of the 2019/20 season. Trails officially close March 31st.

I have to say that even with the early season HEAVY snow storms delaying the opening of trails in some areas, the Christmas to New Years rain and then snow storm, limited snow in February and March and now of course the virus wrecking havoc and devastation on the world.....it was STILL a good season! I always say ANY day riding is better than a day at work or home!

Adam Garvey (a local to the Keweenaw) enjoyed a last trail ride and shared his good, bad and ugly photos with us!

Thanks for sharing, Adam, along with ALL of you that shared photos during the season and trail conditions reports - It’s awesome to have so many people willing to share their riding experiences!

Huge thanks again to the Groomer Operators, Trail Boss, Keweenaw Snowmobile Club and Volunteers that make each season great!

Stay safe and stay healthy!

Thanks for sharing ! Stay safe! Till next year

As a family we managed to enjoy everyday we had on the trails! Special "thank you" to all that made our travels to the UP so wonderful. See you all next season 🙂

It looked like a promising season, until I slipped and fell in a parking lot and destroyed my left rotator cuff. I did get to run Ojibwa Casino Baraga to Big Bay the day before my accident. I managed to drive up to the Mariner to meet my brother and nephew for lunch the day I got hurt. Good memories, even in bad times. Recovering from surgery nicely. Thanks everyone in the Keweenaw and surrounding areas, groomers, restaurants, residents, etc. Still one of best places on earth.

What a great season in Da UP! We are already counting down till next year. Huge shout out to the clubs for incredible trails, business’ for the warm reception and Mother Nature for the snow!! THINK SNOW!!

Joseph Discianno our blackberry friend from the UP

Was just thinking of a nice long UP trip in the kee with the brother in-laws today, JT Salerno Tony Jack gunna love their first time yo there next year. Missed the annual end of year trip there with my dad Jerry Deren this year due to the virus, will just make next years even better! Can’t wait till the snow flies again

Sad site to see

9100 miles this season, wow did winter fly by

Didnt get to come up do to my brother changing jobs, work getting in the way, my engine blew up im my truck and now COVID, hopefully next year

Brian Friebel looks good enuff for me

Love that area! Looking fwd to next season. Shoutout to all who make it what it is. Adam - Sure u collected all the bogey wheels that may or may not have fallen off?? 👀 Good times!! 😎

I really planned on making a mid to late March trip as usual, but (no fault of the trail system) part of my Snowmobile experience includes restaurants and hotels. Therefore, I quit in Early March This year was a unprecedented time that I never could plan for. Can't wait to get up to the UP and especially the Keewauna in 2021

I got 2 trips in 1176 miles in 8 days I was satisfied.. but just to know I only rode the whole season 8 days sucks!

Always sad when snow melts after a good season. This year l was in the U.P. area three times. To Keweenaw was one of the best spring break trips ever! My first trip back to Copper Harbor in over 20years. I am hooked. It was awesome! Thanks to the clubs and groomer operators. ☃️

Still looked like a great time. I was going last weekend until I heard talk of police pulling over trailers before the Big Mac.

Miss those days of riding.

Thanks I needed that

Thank you

Thank you to all the Volunteers who make these trails possible.

Thanks to all the trail workers . THANKS ! See you next year !

Our first trip to the UP was a blast. Thanks to all who made it possible. We’ll be back next season. Stay safe, and God Bless you all and May HE watch over each and everyone of you.

Great season .... thank you to all that made it possible Snowmobiling is a true passion of mine , don’t know what I would do with out it

God that ended fast - trails were awesome with big base only short time ago 😩

Awesome pictures
