JORDAN VALLEY UPDATE via Jordan Valley Trails Council – 2/13

Trail update 02-13-2020 : We’ve finally received some new snow to freshen up the trails! Groomers and riders have indicated trails have been in really good shape this week. Monday we received about 3” of compacted snow and another couple inches throughout the week. We have a very solid hard base so we’re back in business again. The short term forecast has a few more inches coming through the weekend with cooler temps which should make for a good weekend of riding! Get your riding in as next weekend is predicted to be in the 40’s again 🤬😤🤯

Next weekend is East Jordan’s winter Sno-Blast, be sure to check out the events at the East Jordan Sno-Mobilers, Inc. as well as festivities in town.

Have a safe weekend and enjoy the trails!

Today Bruce and Tracey installed some PVC pipes to try and make a snow bridge over the “Pinney Bridge River”. There is still a section for free sled washes though 😁
This fall we were working with the DNR and Antrim County Road Commission to hopefully improve this area but ran out of time before the early snow, hopefully before next season we can get this problem taken care of.

We went over it Monday morning and the temporary fix worked great. Thanks!

We went through the sled wash Saturday!! It was much needed after the “mud bath” from the logging road that was plowed down to dirt😳🤦‍♂️🤪

Thank you great job I was just sending it across the water haha.. see ya next weekend and for the breakfast at EJ

We will need an engineer and a $tudy before we go any further... LOL Great Job!!!

Why not put culvert in for a better fix. Long term.

Its not that bad to get through ,first time ive seen water there in my history

How does this happen? GPS or not. Where’s the common sense.

Omg I'm an equipment operator and I haul my own equipment. I hate using GPS it always tries to take me down dirt roads or through neighborhoods.. I just keep passing them and make my GPS reroute itself until I get to main roads

Todd lambert. I told you not To park your semi there
