Snowmobile trails are in fair to good condition throughout the Keweenaw. Trails are groomed daily throughout the region.

• Trail 133 is closed for logging. The trail section from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden (a portion of Trail 3) and the Freda Trail (Trails 121 & 120) will be closed the entire season for repair.
• Valley Sno Drifters trail from Lake Linden to Dreamland Restaurant & Bar is OPEN!
• The Portage Lift Bridge is open to snowmobile traffic.
• Trail 133 is closed for logging.

Remember when you’re out on the trails to watch out for the groomers.  They have the right away.

Please stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely.  The signs on the trails are there for rider’s safety so please DO NOT remove or destroy them.

Houghton County has received a total of 125.0″ of snow for the season and Keweenaw County has received 219.6″ of snow for the season.*

• Today’s forecast: More clouds than sun. High 29F.
• Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies. High near 15F.
• Wednesday: Partly cloudy skies. High near 25F.
• Thursday: Some sun in the morning with increasing clouds during the afternoon. High around 25F.
• Friday: Scattered snow showers during the morning. Then partly to mostly cloudy for the afternoon. High 18F. Chance of snow 30%.
