Benzie Area Trail Report – 01/09

Hi all! Well, another day, another crappy snow report! Boo. We were supposedly going to get some snow squalls Tuesday night and into yesterday but no. We MAYBE got 1-2 at most. Trails are not good AT ALL. There is very little snow, and more mud, ice, and water holes to be found than anything. WE NEED SNOW! Possible good news is that the forecast calls for a possible storm coming in Saturday with heavy snow, and possibly 6 plus inches for our area. We will see. I’m not too "trusting" of the weather reports of late! C’mon Mother Nature! Bring us some good snow! Amp up those snow dances folks! SNOW SNOW SNOW! Also note the Empire Snowmobile Drags schedule for this Saturday Jan 11, 2020 has been cancelled its been reschedule for Saturday Feb 29,2020. Registration 8am-1010am. Racing starts @ 10:30 am. Questions please contact Soni Aylsworth @ 231-499-4930

Notice the Vintage show scheduled for January 10 & 11, 2020 has been cancelled due to the upcoming weather reports for our area.. Also because of this issue we have NOT started grooming..
