IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/23 If you are nervous about trail conditions after this warm spell, NEED NOT FEAR! Trails remain in good to excellent condition, THERE IS TONS OF SNOW!!! Water/mud holes remain froze and GRTA groomers groomed all major trails every night since Thursday. We hope to groom 160 later today or tomorrow. 11S remains closed due to logging. IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. Please…we are begging riders to stay on trails. We have had more problems with disrespectful riders this year than we can remember. Key board warriors not needed, we’re not bashing any "group" or age or type of rider, so don’t even start. This is about respecting the amazing land owners who allow us access giving you the riding memories you seek. There are legal off trail riding areas on 160, they are 20 miles north of Ironwood. Please respect our land owners, if we lose that…we lose it all, spread that message! If your kids go out riding locally alone, ask where they go. Ask what they are doing.
