Newberry Trail Report – 03/20

TASA TRAIL REPORT

March 19, 2019

Trails leaving town still have snow and north trails looks nice and smooth. Through town is down to muddy gravel with patches of clean snow off to the sides yet, road crossings bare. South trail was rough with lots of snow and colder night time temps trails should hold up for at least a few more days.

March 18, 2019

In the Newberry area this week there will be snow showers and sun. There is still a lot of snow in the woods and we are still grooming.

PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND STAY RIGHT. Watch out for the groomers they will be on the trail during the day.

Trail #9 Good Condition. Logging operation on the trail on CR 422 and the trail is plowed. Please watch for logging trucks. Please also watch for the dog sled crossings on this trail.

Trail #45 Good Condition. New logging operation just 1 mile east of M-123 on the grade. Please watch for logging equipment. There is logging on this trail just east of the Skyline Road.

South Trail #9/2. Good Condition.Trail #2 west of Hurd Road (west of the Rexton Store) will be plowed for a logging operation. Please watch for logging trucks.
