Harbor Springs Trail Report – 02/09

All trails were groomed last night and are in excellent condition!! Perfect day to get out and ride!!

<>

The rail road grade, trail 7, was groomed last night and is in good condition and still has a good base except in front of the Airport, that area is pretty bare.

With all the rain we got the trails are pretty hard and icy but would say in good-fair condition overall.

We are hoping to get out and groom all the trails this weekend!!

Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club

How many posts on this theme do we have to put on here before people start getting it? We are losing miles & miles of trails because of the hotshots who don't think any rule/law applies to them. They are the privileged ones. Ride safe. Ride right. Ride sober. Ride with respect to the landowner public or private.

Trout Creek Condominiums - Up North made easy.

Happy Tuesday! According to the National Weather Service, we are officially at 121.1" of snow so far this winter season...which is just over 10 feet, putting us 19" above our seasonal average.
Nubs Nob is reporting that they have had 140" fall so far this year, which is probably more accurate on this side of the bay. But any way you slice it, that is a lot of snow.
For most of the season it has been our usual overcast gray day, but the past 4 days have given us blue skies and temps in the 20's making it, in our opinion, the best 4 days of the season so far.
There is nothing better than waking up on a crisp winter morning to see the sun coming up with the pinks and golds lighting up the sky...you just know that it's going to be a good day.
There is still plenty of winter left so if you haven't made you plans to come and see us, give us a call! 800-748-0245

He better have had his Trail sticker!!!

Signs of spring? That would stink;)

Let’s hope it is...🤣

The snow can hurry up and melt haha

I smelled a skunk on trail 8 west of Munising!

Just putting a reminder out there that vehicles/tracked ORV’s are not permitted on our groomed snowmobile trails. It puts all snowmobilers and our groomers in danger and destroys our trails. Everyone ride safe out there as there has been several vehicle/ORV tracks found on the trails tonight by our groomers!! ... See MoreSee Less

Just loved it last year when we rode up to a Yukon Denali stuck at the bottom of the hill east end of Wressel. Really! At least he was already stuck and we didn’t have to eat his grill.

If its a seasonal road, they have the right to be on them with an ORV sticker.

Common sense isn't very common.

Just a question for info only. What About ORV’s with tracks ?? Just asking.

Not totally true...seasonal roads are allowed with ORV stickers.

Nick Gowan be carful out there bro be up soon!
