Wooowee!! Thank you sledheads and sponsors for a great season! We haven’t had snow like that in the Northern Lower in a long time. Is it too soon for snow dances and countdowns?? Maybe...but we don’t care 🤪 ... See MoreSee Less

It’s -1 now but we’re forecasted to be above freezing for the next 10 days with rain expected on Thursday. We’re currently still grooming but can’t groom in temps above 32. Enjoy what’s left of the season sledders! Ride safe, ride right and return home❄️ ... See MoreSee Less

Update: GET OUT AND RIDE!!!!
Trails are being groomed daily and continue to be in great shape. The 10 day looks like March in Northern Michigan, a little bit of everything. We will keep you updated if conditions change.

UPDATE & CAUTION: We didn't lose much snow with the warm up but didn't get much after temps cooled down.
CAUTION: With winds over 50 mph undoubtedly we will have trees down in wooded areas and large drifts in open areas. PLEASE ride with extreme caution! Weather reports say the winds should calm down around noon. We are planning to get groomers and volunteers out to clear trails this afternoon. This is going to be a process so please be patient. We are sure this is going to be the case for many clubs so again, ride with extreme caution.

AFTERNOON UPDATE: BIG THANK YOU to volunteer Mark who went absolute BEAST MODE. He started at 10 am this morning clearing trees. He needed to call a couple volunteers in for this one but other than that has been a one man clearing crew!!!

We couldn't do this without great volunteers like Mark!!!!

❄️❄️SUNDAY AM UPDATE & FRIENDLY REMINDER: Temperatures were around 0 last night which really helped the trails setup with the groom. Trails are looking hard and flat this morning and we’ve already heard many of you out there enjoying them.
❄️❄️Both tracks on the Kubota needed to be changed due to broken lugs. 6 volunteers (3 of them who spent their Saturday night/Sunday morning grooming and 1 of the 3 hadn’t even gone to bed yet) spent Sunday morning away from their family to help install new tracks. 5 of the 6 have jobs they will be going to tomorrow and will spend one or 2 nights this week with little to no sleep because they are on a groomer.
❄️❄️This is what dedication and volunteering is all about. We all do it for the love of the sport and for you to enjoy the trails. Presidents weekend is one of the busiest of the season. As riders you should expect high traffics and high volume in small areas. A large section of our trail system is part of one of the most popular loops in the Northern Lower. The trails were not neglected this weekend and were being groomed as quickly and safely as possible. Our groomer operators have a ton of experience and haven’t seen traffic like this in a long time. We’re happy you’re here and enjoying the snow.

We were up this past weekend. You guys do a great job all the time.

Trai;s were amazing Sunday morning, so appreciated. How can we make a donation for the group and equipment?

Thank you for all your dedication! The trails were great! We truly appreciate it!

Did the Indian river, Alanson, Mackinaw loop yesterday and for as busy as it was the trails were in great shape thanks to the groomers hard work!! We appreciate you and all your hard work!

Great job guys, hope you all get rest and sometimes FAMILIES ARE FIRST

Awesome nice to see good people like you great men

Awesome job guys thanks for your efforts

Awe!! This is so.....awesome!! You are all so amazing & I personally can't thank you and your family's enough for all you do!! For my love of this sport!!

Just drove trail 99 to the bluffs it was in excellent shape guys thank you for all your hard work !

Cheboygan is a great trail system that doesnt get as much traffic as gaylord or the UP and you guys do a great job!

Great job and a big “Thank you” to you all.

Thank you for your hard work !

Best groomers in the state

Thanks to all

Thank you

What address to mail donations? Snail mail or electronic?

Do you not use a front push blade? Could be one reason you aren’t getting rid of the ice bumps. Just an idea. Thanks to the volunteers!!

Thank you!!!!

Had a lot of snowmobiles in last night who said the trail between Cheboygan and Mackinaw City is garbage. Some said it looked like it hadn't been groomed in weeks. Ruts everywhere. Said it looked like side by sides and 4 wheelers had been ripping it up. Just passing on info.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication. We couldn't ride the trails without you.

Keep up the good work

We know the trails are rough. This is the heaviest traffic we’ve seen in a long time. With that being said...the trails are having a hard time setting up because theres sleds coming right behind the groomer. We are trying our best to get them flat and to keep everyone safe but we can’t be everywhere at the same time. Here is an example what we are up against. ... See MoreSee Less

Thank you for all that you do for our community! For anyone that loves to sled like my family please consider donating to your trail system. These are volunteers who could be spending their time elsewhere and they should be appreciated! Great trails create great business!

For all the people complaining about the trails. You should sell your sleds and take up knitting. It's an aggressive sport that has unpredictable circumstances. The best thing you can do is go ride somewhere else. The groomers, hats off by the way for your volunteer services, are doing their best they can. Appreciate all you do and this guy won't be complaining about the trails because im happy that we have one of the best trail systems in the country and sometimes it's bumpy and sometimes its flat and I'm ok with that.

Beautiful!!!!! Thank you

whats the issue? the rough stuff looks more fun.

Thanks for the great job

Andrew Dixon

It was great riding up here in Paradise. 😁

Great work with high traffic

I am just happy we got snow. Thanks for trying to keep people happy

Great Job Gang and Thank You!

this is the most snow we've had in years. people are taking advantage. alot more traffick than usual. which is good. ya the trails are taking a beating. But that's part of riding....

You guys are doing a great job, especially since most of u are volunteers with actual jobs. If people expect a super smooth surface maybe they should stick to the cars. Snowmobiling is the winter equivalent to off roading.

Nice job. Boys trails look great, lots of traffic, weekend warriors

Thanks for all your dedication to keeping up on the trails. I look just as forward to riding them as I do hearing about my Dads time grooming. Now if I could only get him on a snowmobile again! ❄️

We were there last weekend and trail were WONDERFUL, you all do a fantastic job!!!

Sure you are run 24/7 and get more groomers out grooming and less coffee breaks

Thanks for the hard work, that’s crazy! Glad I rode midweek.

Where is this?

Thank you for all your efforts to get these trails in better condition!!

I live in Indian River on a high bank of the Sturgeon River, so I see and hear Trail 7 ( North Central rail) all day. It’s literally a super high way on the weekends, the groomer goes by twice a day. I’ve counted 35 sleds behind the groomer before. I was out on trail 76 and a groomers drag slid off into the trees because a snowmobile wouldn’t move over. Another groomer was on the way to pull him out. So due to someone’s inconsiderate behavior, two groomers were tied up for hours and no trails were groomed.

Sooooo pretty! Wish we were there

Where you grooming tonight thank you for your hard wok

It's nice you have snow to work with.

Justin Van Dyke

Well I know we rode today from Indian river to mac city and it was the worst ride ever...I've never seen any trails worse off this was a horrible Saturday ride.and another didnt see one gromer the whole ride..I am beat up and so is my sled.i will be trying a total different spot from now on sad thing is gaylord /Indian river is one of our favorite spots
