Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/17
It’s a bright, white, hard, icy & cold morning here in Frederic at 9 degrees and ten a.m. No new snow overnight but there is some predicted for tonight. My thoughts on the coming weekend are about the same as last weekend. People are tired of waiting, its a long MLK weekend and we have a very hard icy base. Suspension lube is an issue so you will have to work for it but if we really get a little the next couple nights that will really help. The cold is supposed to continue thruout the weekend so we will keep what we do have. It is very icy in front of Sledheads, I was just out spreading salt out there and have my truck sideways across the front to make sure nobody comes flying thru and slides, walk carefully if you are coming in. I am doing my best with the salt out there. Snow chanting is most welcome and because we haven’t had the joy of a real snowfall yet this season I will once again post a link to my Big Chief Indian Pete video here Frederican Snow Chant I find it hard to believe that video is now ten years old…..PIcs below I took outside this morning.
