Lake Gogebic Trail Report – 01/02
I will be trying to do weekly reports on our trails – today trail 1&8 across top of lake Gogebic very good shape – I continued on 13N for a short distance that also had been groomed recently . Trail 102N and trail 1 North from Bergland also looked very good. Trail 8 west from Bergland just fair – a little choppy . Trail 1 groomed to Presque but gets thin getting south of Marenisco. Trail 1 groomed from Marenisco to West Side resort where the trail ends for now – your choice to go further north is hop on lake and about 4 mi north is the Hoop where you can pick up trail system again. The bad news is starting tomorrow temps will be mid to upper 30’s for several days.
