Gaylord is under a “WINTER STORM WARNING” from 4 pm today through 7 am Jan. 1st, 2019! Possible 8 – 12 inches of snow! Gaylord Area has received around 10 inches of snow and it is still coming down. As you may be aware, Trail #7 was under construction this past summer and fall. All construction is wrapped up and the trail is open as usual for snowmobiles, weather permitting. Now everyone just needs to THINK SNOW!

Sledheads of Frederic – 01/01

FREDERIC / GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic , Michigan Snowmobiling – Happy New Year and Finally some snow. We had 7 to 9 inches of nice rideable snow since yesterday afternoon. For those lucky enough to ride in it last night and this morning you cant ask for much better. I was up here at 630 this morning to plow and saw three sleds coming thru about 7 this morning. I saw some more down at the gas station about 8. Still haven’t had the first sled of the season into Sledheads yet but if it doesn’t happen to day I may just have to give up. Now the bad part is that this is all the snow we are supposed to get and then back to warmer temps this week so once this gets worn down that’s it till the next round…..
