Jerry is headed to groom 8 right now. Reminder there are several water hazards that opened and alternate routes to Lake Gogebic suggested. We will continue to run nonstop over the holiday stretch. #supportwhereyouride

Trail 2 was groomed over night from Marenisco to Hurley, WI. It is rated good to very good condition. Trail 8 was groomed yesterday afternoon and is listed in good to very good condition.

All trails will get very icy by the end of the day, but we are working a 3"-10" base with much of it 5-8". 160 will be groomed today, so ride carefully on watch for grooming/brushing operations. Many trees down or leaning from ice/snow build up. Early birds will have exceptional riding today!!

Yowie! Trails are incredible!! Thank you Mike Secord of Bessemer for going hard today! He groomed trail 2 from Wakefield to Two Fat Guys Bar And Grill in Marenisco and back. Then got some fuel from Groomer Man Dan and groomed trail 8! Vice President Jerry and Groomer Man Greg Hiedeman of IL groomed 160 today. Trails will be awesome this weekend. Saturday shouldn't be near as bumpy, even with the warmth. Talking double digits below zero tonight, this 24" glacial pack will need crazy traffic to get it loose and whoop up. Thank your volunteer groomer operators when you see them! All western U P trails are DIALED right now! Get up here! ... See MoreSee Less

It was C-O-L-D last night! As Mike Secord and his son took the T7 for trail 8 Club President Steve snapped a video of the rig cooling down before a long night of making trails awesome. We feel 160 is a great ride today, Bob Kennedy groomed it completly from 9pm until 4am this morning. By 3pm our entire system will have been groomed twice in the last 24 hours, some sections more. Trails this weekend will be GREAT, the temperature forecast continues to reduce high temps, but even if it didn't we have gobs of snow on our trails region wide. Grooming crews from all clubs continue to run hard, please come support our efforts!!

Trails were fantastic all weekend!! Thanks for all the hard work!! We appreciate it!

Ted Hamilton you betcha! That was my son Garrett Secord walking by in the video last night when we pulled the groomer out of the barn. We did trail 8 from Bessemer towards Tula we only saw 4 sleds the whole night. It was a cold one for sure.

Thank you for your dedication.

Thanks for sharing, nice to see the pride all have in caring for the trails.

Ted Hamilton I wish I knew you were up! Let me know when you are in the area again I would love to go out for a ride with you.

That new trail 1 was awesome

Mike Secord ? The one I used to know ?

We owe many thanks to Vice President Jerry *Nezzie" and Groomer Man Dan for working over night and thru Sunday fixing the blown Hydraulic line on the Tucker, what a mess, what a job and what a job well done! Thank you to Brian H., Bob K., Matt R., Mike S., Charlie B., Scott S., Nezzie and Groomer Man Dan for making the trails exceptional this weekend. We apologize to anyone we haven't gotten trained in for grooming yet, but we will be reaching out soon! Trails for next weekend will be exceptional, fresh snow next several days and good cold temps. Long live winter! #kippis ... See MoreSee Less
