GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – East on 8. The ungroomed portion of the trail is getting into really poor condition with wet spots, moguls and deep truck ruts. The stretch between the tin shack east to the next turning point had some truck activity also. Beware of ruts. Fair conditions at best. Groomer Dan Groomer report: A bit of ice showing along H58. Sand showing and wet spots along 8. Pretty good where 8 turns to 43/88 but not a lot of snow. We need snow. Listen to Elmer and do your snow dances. Stay safe out there guys. – Groomer Kevin S. Trail 443 , is getting some snow , and WE are getting bumps shaved off .
