Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 03/08
This is it. As good as it will probably get for the remainder of this dismal riding season. I just got my sled out and rode around the building, Not showing any dirt. (yet) Only another couple inches of new snow since yesterday even though we were under winter weather advisory. Currently 10 a.m. and 30 degrees. I had several calls from people wondering if they should come up and ride yesterday. Well I don’t recommend it I still think some will come out. A guy just stopped in and is on his way back from the u.p. Like I said a couple weeks ago that if there was going to be anymore riding this season it would only be for a day or two and the first ones out in the snow will be the lucky ones. The couple that headed out the other day was back after 7 miles. I am going for two tracks and Chubby Roger is on his way down here to go with me. I am going to put a sign up in the door that says back in a couple hours. I will see if we can get more than 7 miles in. I figure what the heck, I have worn duallys on my skis and they are already well worn and I have more slides here so we are gonna try it. Chubby Roger and I haven’t got to ride together for to many years so here is our chance. Just took the pics out front here of my sled. Thanks for checking in.
