Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – 02/21
2 word update….It Sucks……..it was up to 53 degrees yesterday and we have had torrential downpours that lasted about 24 hours. There were about 5 spots between Frederic and the high school yesterday where water was all the way across the road. The 2 pics of the trail that looks like a skating rink or lake were up by the high school this morning. On the news this morning they said the warmest temp for Feb was in 1999 and it was 72 degrees… we weren’t that far off yesterday. The Mackinaw bridge closed at 1 yesterday afternoon for falling ice. I did have 2 guys that stopped in that made it across coming home from Grand Marais and they wree the only people that stopped in yesterday. Bridge reopened during the night. Thanks for checking in.
