SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – Temps got up to 35 around noon but started cooling off from there. Then started snowing about dark, 1-3 inches tonight. And temps falling back into the teens. No groomers moved and not likely Wednesday either unless we get a lot more then 3 inches…. <> Sault Ste. Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes on exposed skin in this weather. Good morning! Bryan and his son Logan hit the city trails last night and also 49 down to 7 mile and they turned out great! The little streams behind Kewadin Casino are still flowing (see the video in the comments) even with all of the cold, but our bridges have made a huge difference in there! There is one spot along the Kewadin trail that is soft and we keep filling it in as best we can. Likely a nonissue for the weight of a sled, but worth mentioning.
