Munising Area Trail Report – 12/15
Really coming down here again this morning! – Terrace Motel – 12/15 (See photos below) Alger County SORVA – 12/14 Trail preparation is progressing and the trails are coming out nice. Big issue right now is the ground still not frozen. It’s making for time consuming work while panning as the wet snow snow is sticking to everything. It’s been in the low teens so lets hope these packed trails start to freeze in. Still estimating a week out before trails are good – provided more snow comes. Stay tuned for detailed updates. Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
