Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 12/05

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are officially open but it looks like we will be starting the season a little later than usual due to the lack of sufficient snow. As soon as conditions improve the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club will turn loose its fleet of groomers to get the trails in shape for the 2017-2018 season.

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort >> Chris F. from Central WI came up for a quick ride yesterday! The last storm we got about 4” one day and 6” on the second day than yesterday was warmer temps and rain. That didn’t stop him tho for coming up to ride! He was able to get to town but said the sidewalks were plowed along the canal. Tho he couldn’t go past there he said he still had a great time! ❄️ Now today we’re are in yet another winter storm advisory supposed to to get a possible of 10-13” by tomorrow morning. Maybe we will hit 100” here in Twin Lakes yet! Wishing this was the start of winter not the end! Haha 🇺🇸⛄️❄️ www.kruppsresortmi.com #keweenaw #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less
