Here it comes... WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ WEDNESDAY TO 1 AM EST /MIDNIGHT CST/ FRIDAY.

* WHAT... HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW EXPECTED. PLAN ON DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS, INCLUDING DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE ON THURSDAY. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 9 INCHES, WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS UP TO 12 INCHES, EXCEPT 4 TO 6 INCHES INLAND FROM NEAR WATERSMEET TO BRUCE CROSSING, ARE EXPECTED.

* WHERE... ONTONAGON AND GOGEBIC COUNTIES. * WHEN... FROM 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ WEDNESDAY TO 1 AM EST /MIDNIGHT CST/ FRIDAY.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 30 MPH WILL CAUSE PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
