Ironwood Trail Report – Gogebic Range Trail Authority – 01/19
This picture is trail 2 in Ironwood; the rail beds are holding up nicely and listed in good condition(discoloration seen from highway sand). Grooming is currently not an option until temperatures drop below freezing. The trail from Ramsay Crossing to Wakefield is in poor condition, very low snow in spots, half of it is in good condition. We’ve seen a lot of sleds up here during the week and the trails haven’t degraded much at all. With the temps keeping us from grooming trail conditions could be rough by the weekend, however. Please tread lightly on the trails, please stay on the trails, we’ll get out grooming as soon as the weather allows.
