Our guys checked the trail yesterday and unfortunately there is not enough snow to groom. This is probably not a surprise since we’ve only received a dusting since the weekend.

There is a thick base of ice but we need several inches of snow on top of it-otherwise the groomer has nothing to work with. Temperatures have held in the 20’s and riding is still decent in the woods. The railroad grade is hit-and-miss, and rider traffic has really dwindled. Today it’s in the teens and is supposed to reach a high of 30. Friday and Saturday are forecasted to be in the mid to upper 30’s. Sunday and Monday are looking like we’ll break 40s. I do believe the writing is on the wall…or in the snow…Expect conditions in the woods to hold longest when the melt-off begins.
