Watersmeet Trail Report – 02/23
*We have mostly Good with a few Fair trail conditions at this time* Our trail system held up better than we thought. The trails are getting thin in the high traffic areas so we’re starting to see some rocks/dirt mixed with the snow. There are no bare areas. We do have some icy corners so use caution We have colder temps in the forecast for the overnight hours and light snow everyday. Groomers are running daily when temperatures are below 32 degrees Trail 2 west of Watersmeet -good – conditions are fair getting through town, road area 4 miles west of Watersmeet is good it is snow covered, 10 miles west of Watersmeet the trail is very good Trail 2 east of Watersmeet to Trail #107 – fair/good dirt/rocks mixed with the snow until you get out of town Trail 3 north of Trail 2 to Trail #8 – good with some icy corners Trail 3 south of Watersmeet to Land O’ Lakes WI – POOR – lots of dirt and rocks mixed with the snow Trail 13 south of Trail 2 towards the Cisco Chain of Lakes WI – Good <> Reports via: U.P.
