LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming >> 03/01 Bergland Area Groomer’s update for 3-1-26. Sound’s like most clubs in the U.P. are experiencing the same thing. Temp’s got into the mid to upper 40’s on Friday and that evening dropped into the lower teen’s locking everything in tight! (Frustrating when you aren’t even able to cut down a berm back to the inside of the trail). We have plenty of snow and the trail’s are holding up but the forecast for this week looks like we’ll see some more 40° days.
Think positive and do your snow dance! The weather through March is very unpredictable and could completely change 3 days from now. The picture of -4 was around 11:30 in between Bergland and Ewen on trail 8. Gogebic Area Grooming ❄️❄️❄️
