Traverse City Area Trail Report – 02/20
TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club >> 02/20 So, what do the trails look like after receiving over a half inch of rain and 50 degree temps yesterday? My thoughts exactly, so I went out and took a few pics. Surprisingly, not too bad. Is there dirt showing in spots, yes. Are they hard and flat, yes. Do we need more snow, yes, yes please. After tomorrow, temps are suppose to drop back under freezing. Now all we need is some snow. Keep doing those snow dances. <> <> TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf >> 02/20 Weekend Update Feb 20-22, 2026: We will be open Saturday, 2/21 from 12pm to 4pm. Beau and Knox have 1 hayride time available this Saturday and a couple spots left next Saturday for their winter hayrides. 231-947-9529 for reservations. They work through this month and start their spring vacation in March. Come enjoy a ride with our magnificent boys š“š“ The weather has been wild this week. Some cold days. Some spring like days. Some rain. Iām honestly shocked there is snow on trails at this point. Lots of bare spots, some standing water in places, very thin and icy in areas, but still some snow somehow. Would call things poor overall, but there is actually some decent snow out deeper in the trail system where there is more tree cover.
