Harbor Springs Area Trail Report – 02/07

HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 02/07

Happy Saturday!

We had all three groomers out last night & all of our trails were groomed. Overall the trails are in great shape. There is still an active logging operation on 71/Chadderdon Road, please slow down in that area.

Don’t forget to stop into Northwood Family Restaurant tomorrow, they have a chicken wing special and are donating 10% of their proceeds all day to our club. Thank you Northwoods!!

This weekend is also the Elk’s Nuts Ride, they are a great group of guys that ride to raise funds to end prostate cancer. You can donate to the cause at this link: https://elksnuts.com/

Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> We had two groomers out last night and groomed from the Harbor Barn to Pellston & Alanson along with the Railroad grade from Alanson to Mackinaw. We will have another groomer heading out on the west side tonight. Overall the trails are in good shape considering it’s March 23rd! The worst areas of our system are where our trails run along side dirt roads, which would be Palmer Road, Teal Road, & Camp/Ely Bridge Road. Thankfully they are short sections & there are ways to avoid them completely.
As of now the weather is looking good for being able to groom again before the weekend. This weekend is the last of the season and the first time in a long time we’ve been able to ride this late. #harborsprings #petoskey #snowphotos
