Trail report 1-3-2026 groomer Matt, 76 south from Chandler Hill Road and 763 to Walloon Village. He said it’s pretty good.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Here is the latest on the burst of snow for tonight. Not much change, with heaviest snow between ~10PM to 3AM for most locations, couple hrs later Lake Huron shoreline. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A burst of snow, heavy at times, is expected tonight into early Monday, with several inches of snow expected much of northern Michigan. Snow may mix with or change over to freezing drizzle late tonight through Monday morning with a coating of ice possible as well. HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> We didn’t have anyone available to groom last night but do have all three groomers headed out tonight.
The railroade grade (trail 7) was groomed last on Friday night & everything in the woods was done Thursday night. The trails are going to be on the rough side today.
⚠️🛑 Trail closure: Trail 7 (the railroad grade) will be closed from Trails End Road to Cadillac St in Mackinaw City starting Monday 1/5 for 3-5 days while soil testing is conducted. We will update everyone once that section re-opens. There is not a reroute at this time.

JORDAN VALLEY AREA UPDATE via Jordan Valley Trails Council >> It’s going to be a great day for riding. Get out there and enjoy the trails!
Thank you to all the great volunteers from the JVTC, Petoskey Snowmobile and ORV Club and Kalkaska County Sand and Snow - KCSAS getting all these trails groomed tonight!
Antrim Clubhouse will be open Saturday and
East Jordan will have their weekly breakfast Sunday morning.

I don’t believe we have anyone available to groom tonight, but do have people lined up for Sunday. We will update here if anything changes.
