Harbor Springs Area Trail Report – 12/07
HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 12/07 All of our gates are open & the entire west side of our trail system was panned today, while the east side & railroad grade are being done tonight. The ground & water holes are not frozen yet but we are off to a good start for early season riding!! We do have two sections of our trail that are being logged/plowed: 🪵📍Trail 71 from Valley Rd to Alanson Trail Intersection Be sure to stop into Moose Jaw Junction on Tuesday from 5-8pm for our all you can eat pizza dinner!! All proceeds go directly to the snowmobile club. 🍕 <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Dangerous wind chills will be widespread today, especially this morning. Wind chills in the 20s below zero; some areas could feel as cold as -30F. This will be dangerous, as frostbite can develop in as little as 30 minutes on exposed skin. Limit time outdoors and dress in layers. Keep a winter weather survival kit in your vehicle in case you get stranded. Beach's Up North Tavern’s Vintage ride is this Saturday, the ride leaves at noon & returns back at 5pm. They will have a live auction starting at 5:30pm, all proceeds go directly to the Snowmobile club.
