We were able to get 5 miles cleared up in 5 hours. We are a bit sore haha, wah some of those trees were big! Tomorrow hoping some more helpers will be heading out to head south of Krupp’s Resort. We will continue on Monday and so on till this is done. Widespread snowfall amounts of 3-6 inches are expected across most of the UP, with locally higher amounts possible. The Superior snowmobile club started cleaning things up but are dealing with a small crew and it’s overwhelming
If you have been dying to ride tomorrow I think with over 2 feet on the trails you could have a opener to remember but bring a saw and help the club clean this mess up

It looks like we might get 3-5 inches tonight and another 1-2 tomorrow. Plus this coming week is going to be cold with highs in the teens and twenties.

Essentially, this is nearly the same map I shared previously. I just narrowed the ranges slightly. Shape is the exact same. I do think some lake enhancement from Lake Huron is possible, so, I highlighted that. Also, the higher elevations of the western U.P. COULD get slightly more. I'd say it's just a chance, but a big enough chance that I added it to the map.
This is just a fine, fine tune before the big event. Think of it as I just polished my Stingray before a car show 😛
