Gaylord Bureau – November 25, 2025 The countdown is on! We’re patiently waiting for the snow to fly and the trails to open on December 1st (weather permitting). I haven’t put an update on because there’s so much snow and I’m plowing there’s 3 feet of snow around Sledheads and I haven’t even touched that yet. I will be plowing most of the day tomorrow. These guys sent me their picture they had called me and they stopped by there’s a lot of sleds out and about. I saw probably about a dozen in Frederick at the Swamp earlier. It’s now Friday night about 630 and I could stay here and plow all night probably this is crazy. Primarily rain is expected across much of northern lower, with mainly snow through the Straits and eastern U.P. – Please move off the trail when groomers are approaching and allow them to safely pass.
– If you approach a groomer from behind, kindly wait for the operator to signal you to pass.
– Grooming can take place at any time during the day or night, so stay alert.
– Always ride on the right side of the trail.
