SAULT STE. MARIE AREA UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association >> 03/05 3/5/25 We’ll keep you posted! Just west in areas such as Paradise, they were getting snow. Marie Snowmobile Association >> 03/05 3/5/25 It’s supposed to switch over to snow tonight. Obviously, grooming is on pause, and trails will be very icy once temps drop and this all freezes. No doubt the trails all took a hit, but we’ll update when we can on how things shake out. The snow line isn’t too far to our west, so areas over that way should be in much better shape. It’s not pretty folks. Big thanks to Turbo for sending these pics of the trail crossings on 8 from the Soo to Brimley. All rain here today. South of the soo, trailso are showing dirt in Kinross😔 Snow is supposedly moving in, and it’s going to get cold so the trails will be solid ice.
