Gaylord Area Trail Report – 02/26
Gaylord Bureau – February 25, 2025 9:05 a.m. As you may know, both of our groomers are currently out for repairs. Our neighboring communities have been able to lend a hand and several of our trails were groomed last week. Thank you to our grooming friends in Lewiston, Grayling and Indian River for getting us ready for last weekend! After a brief warm up and lots of visitors over the weekend, conditions may be quite rough. We’ll update you with any other grooming taking place once we are aware. Please give a big wave to these groomers if you see them out and about! They are going above and beyond to help our their snowmobiling friends and the Gaylord community. We extend a sincere thank you to them for their efforts! Keep in mind, our trails are in poor to fair shape and will likely get bumpier. We will keep you updated on the status of our groomers and let you know once grooming resumes. Ride safe and stay tuned for updates! Check out this live feed to see trail #7, just north of Gaylord. A few things to remember about our groomers and trails: – Groomers are out there to help you have a better riding experience and always have the right of way. Want to be ready? Get a free trail map delivered right to your mailbox and plan your adventure! As always, check back with us for updates and weather reports. <> http://www.gaylordmichigan.net/snowmobile-trail-report-114/ <> It’s rock hard and 20 degrees out there this morning. I posted a video a bit ago and it was the grayling groomer heading north and like I thought they were coming to pick up the drag they left by the Swamp a few days ago. The hitch is repaired on the groomer but there is no grooming going to happen until or when we get new snow. Its amazing how fast it goes. So to me it looks like we had about 16 days of good riding with all that snow we had. Still one more month to the season so when and if we get more snow be ready to ride it. I have a full tank and am ready in case it does happen. Thanks for checking in. Pete (also time to start the snow chants again.) http://frederic-mi.com/category/trail-conditions/ <> <>
