NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association >> 02/17 So, anyone been in or outta Newberry trail 9 in a while? 😂 Glad it wasn’t me! It’s fixed, 1 4 place trailer in the Timber Charlie’s parking lot there, past 26 heading in before I got to the trail head on 446! Made it to 498, if that wasn’t the ugliest I’ve ever seen it, it was a tie. But of course it’s not now 😊 12 miles in to a 98 mile run, LOTS of work to do, if you’re coming or going you’ll have a smooth ride, ill make it pretty on the way back. WINDY CORNERS? PRETTY. 11:00 So Everthing north out of Newberry and Windy Corners has been groomed once, Windy Corners in and out, supposed to get down in the try and not die before they get here if I break down range, so it should have a good 8 hours being lonely and setting up, and in a few hours I’ll return to shave the top, pack a little more and make it pretty 😊 Gotta go. 12:45, Seney Crew been and gone as expected, you could pretty much set your clock there. As winds pick up early Tuesday, patchy blowing snow may contribute to reduced visibility in the NW wind snow belts. 9 degrees this morning and snowing. I picked up 5-6" of fresh snow on my deck from last night and it looks like its supposed to snow for the next couple of days too!!!
Our entire system was groomed yesterday and there`s only one way to describe it......EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, those of you who follow me know I don`t use that word very often, but I ain`t kiddin, it doesn`t get any better than this. The swamp south of town, the Falls trail, ALL of our low land trails are better than I`ve seen in a long time!!!!!
If you don`t have plans on gettin U.P. here.....make `em. It won`t last forever.
