Gaylord Bureau – February 14, 2025 9:45 AM The trails in Gaylord have been in good condition all week! It’s shaping up to be an awesome, snowy weekend. Snow will pick up this evening and continue through the weekend and into next week. Stay safe and enjoy the fresh powder! Check out this live feed to see trail #7, just north of Gaylord. No new snow overnight and for as awesome as the snow is out there it seems that the sled traffic is light. I am sure it will be busier as the day goes on. Also Happy Valentines to all. I think we are supposed to get another round of snow again tonight. I am pretty much tired of plowing again. I had the loader here to pile up snow a couple weeks ago and I think I might have to get him back here again.. Nothing to exciting to report so this is gonna be short and sweet. Still alot to melt off here in Frederic, Piles were huge and so very rock hard its still gonna take them a while to melt down. The good thing about all the snow was that it spread the riders out all thru the state which made for a much safer season. Even with that there were still 12 deaths with only 4 in the lower and the rest in the u.p.
