Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 02/13
FREDERIC / GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic – 02/13 You can’t get better than this. Another 6 inches or so of snow yesterday and trails like this you do not get to see very often. I ended up riding up to the bridge yesterday with the friend of the infamous Ohio Pooper who years ago was caught on my camera doing you know what which gave him his nick name. Brian and Mike and I headed up to the bridge and up thru Indian River, Mullett Lake and Cheboygan to Mackinaw City. Only a few ripples in the trail and 99.9 percent of the time super smooth riding. After a quick stop in Mackinaw down the other side of the trail to Carp Lake, Brutus, Pellston and Alanson to Indian River and back down to Frederic for a burger at the Swamp. All in all a perfect 170 mile ride. It just doesn’t happen like that very often. Pretty quiet here in Frederic this morning and i got everything plowed again. Still supposed to be some more snow.
