Gaylord Area Trail Report – 02/10
Gaylord Bureau – February 8, 2025 9:20 AM We’ve had heavy traffic on the trails and they are currently in fair condition. Groomers are running around the clock and will continue to do so to create the best trail conditions possible. Fresh snow is on the way this weekend, too! Saw both Grayling groomers out and about this morning. Rode 50 miles yesterday afternoon and I still say this is the best snow in years. Supposed to be some light snow each day this week so that is good and the temps should be great too. I think that there is so much great snow out there that it has all the riders spread out everywhere. Went off to rescue a couple of friends that blew a belt about 15 miles from Frederic after I got back here from our ride so that was another little adventure. Also Big John & Trent rode back into Frederic after their 3 day 800 mile run to the u.p. and back. They left Melstrand at 5:15 a.m. and were back to Frederic by 2. Thats a power run.
