STRAITS AREA UPDATE via Straits Area Snowmobile Club >> 01/30 When you were looking back and admiring your freshly laid ribbon and then this happens! 3 miles of back tracking to fill in the ruts. This was on our south loop tonight. All is good now… <> <> STRAITS AREA UPDATE via Straits Area Snowmobile Club >> 01/30 Thursday January 30th. Everything is being groomed on a as needed basis. We are mostly flat and in good shape. The only issue to note is we do not have a big base on the rail road grade from Moran to St ignace. It is currently passable with a few thin spots and might get worse as the weekend gets busy. Our next snow chance comes on Saturday night.
