CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort >> 01/30 Warm Day , but trails holding up! Conditions- Good to Very Good Base – 2-4” , with some snirt in open areas Snow last 24 hrs. – 0 Hello- Warm day today , but cold coming back tonight. Groomers are planning to go out for morning shifts tomorrow and foreseeable future. Reports from riders are saying that trails have held up very well today . Obviously, some open roads that have been plowed took some beating today , but that is not too prevalent. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat.
