LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming >> 01/30 Bergland Area Groomer’s Report for 1-30-25. Temperature’s rose to 43° today. Most likely made some thin spots down to snirt but won’t effect us. We’re still down to one machine until most likely Monday, but at this moment 102 and 1n are being groomed then 13n to 101 and 8w to Wakefield.. The traffic is crazy and we’re doing everything we can to keep up. Good evening. We’ve had 1 machine covering all our trails since early morning. Currently on 1s. Next is 102 and hopefully 13n again. Multiple driver’s have stepped up to relieve the other operators. By tomorrow, the wintry precipitation will become more confined to the north, while showers and thunderstorms sneak into the southern counties. A few of these storms could even become strong at times with large hail. I took a trip to Rhinelander and got a few pics of the trails along the way. There's no snow in Rhinelander and very little in Eagle River. Watersmeet looks bad and doesn't start looking good until Mass City.
