Harbor Springs Area Trail Report – 01/21
HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/21 It’s been a snowy, windy, & cold start to the week but it’s just what we needed! Groomer Dale is out rolling the grade tonight (Trail 7) & overall conditions are good. The snow gets thinner north of Carp Lake and is drifting in the open areas but that’s to be expected. We have two groomers headed out tomorrow night to hit the rest of our trails. <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Sunny and dry today, albeit, with a bit of a chill as we kick off March. Clear and cold tonight with lows likely dropping below zero in many spots. Overall everything is in good shape. There are a few areas were there is not enough snow to fill in the moguls but it’s that time of year. Equipment - We’ve got parts engineered and are on the way for the JD out of Alba. They worked on it today, hopefully next couple days we can get that back on line.
Weather - Don’t look now but the rest of the season doesn’t look good. We’ll adjust grooming for the temperatures and conditions. Mid 40s and 50s don’t make it an easy job

Temperatures are supposed to be in the 40’s today but dropping back down over the weekend into the low 20’s. Get out and ride while you can because the extended forecast for March is showing daily highs in the 30’s & 40’s... #harborsprings #petoskey #snowphotos
