FREDERIC / GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic – 01/18 20 degrees and quiet in Frederic. Sled traffic was slow all day yesterday with reports from people of not great trails and of course we have had no new snow. I shoveled snow against the sides of one of my rental houses last night. I had not been back there all winter and there was only about 4 inches of snow there. So that means everything that we have had this winter settled into that 4 inches and the ground wasnt even frozen. It supposed to be below zero the next few days and the north winds have picked up pretty good here this morning. I checked the 2 grayling hotels this morning and days inn had 6 trailers and ramada had 16. Thats the most I have seen there this winter and I hope those guys get a decent ride but its pretty sparse for snow around town. Thanks for checking in.
