SIDNAW – BRUCE CROSSING UPDATE via Sno Valley Riders Snowmobile Club >> 01/18 Groomer Report; We were unable to groom on the evening of the 17th, the temps were too warm and the snow was too sticky. We will get back out there this evening as it is much cooler now. Please ride on the RIGHT side of the trail and STOP at the stop signs! Stay on the trail, if you don’t we could lose trail permissions on private property. Groomers have the right of way on the trails, pull over and stop to let them safely pass! We now have Groomer Tracker installed in our groomers. We groom every day that the weather conditions and equipment allow. By tomorrow, the wintry precipitation will become more confined to the north, while showers and thunderstorms sneak into the southern counties. A few of these storms could even become strong at times with large hail. I took a trip to Rhinelander and got a few pics of the trails along the way. There's no snow in Rhinelander and very little in Eagle River. Watersmeet looks bad and doesn't start looking good until Mass City.
