FREDERIC / GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic – 01/10 Its a calm and quiet friday morning with 20 degrees here in downtown Frederic. No new snow but there is light snow predicted the next few days. I drove out near Manistee Lake this morning to a house I have listed (sale pending) and was surprised how much snow is still out there. Trail crossings still looked pretty good. Of course everyone always says the snow is better north and west of Frederic. I took a few pics of their roof and picnic table to show the snow out there. There were a few sleds out yesterday around Frederic. The other pic I have down here are the guys that came here and are camped out in my back lot. They were still here when I got here this morning but were gone and riding again by about 9:45. If you do want to ride just enjoy what little we do have. I wish I had better reports.
