MASS CITY / KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club – 01/03 We are getting some nice snow! Groomers have been out. Almost all of the trails in our system have been done. I am waiting on reports. It’s official, winter has returned! Let’s hope that the snow keeps falling! Trail reports: Jon reporting on Trail 12 last night. Good, I believe I got the majority of the bumps smoothed out. I had to fill in some low spots with snow. The roads were excellent. Kurt is going to work on the swamp it was in need of attention.
Went pretty good, there were a few areas with flowing water. The largest area was just before the big hill headed towards Rockland. That flow of water was about 6 ft wide. I was able to get them all filled in. Several parts of the trail were pretty thin but overall the trails looked good.Postings From The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club On Facebook

My guess is that we will pause grooming during this time and it's going to get rough. By Wednesday night into Thursday the temps will drop and we can possibly resume grooming but it'll take a couple day's to fix the mess.
Keep in mind I ride in 40°-50° days most of April and the trails hold up pretty good.
