Gaylord Area Trail Report – 12/29
Still melting. Certainly nothing exciting happened in Frederic yesterday so I decided the best way to fix that was to first put a note in my front door that says, Hours will vary until we get rideable snow. And then headed to the Frederic Inn for dinner and had my favorite dinner. Thats it for now. I will get on here as things progress. Thanks for checking in. Due to the warmer temps, trails are in poor condition and grooming has stopped. Don’t worry, there’s more snow in the forecast! Check out this live feed to see trail #7, just north of Gaylord. Still alot to melt off here in Frederic, Piles were huge and so very rock hard its still gonna take them a while to melt down. The good thing about all the snow was that it spread the riders out all thru the state which made for a much safer season. Even with that there were still 12 deaths with only 4 in the lower and the rest in the u.p.
